Food Services
Department Overview
Welcome to the Food Services Department. We look forward to providing your child with breakfast and lunch.
Each child registered in the Mercer School District is given a student ID number. This will be your child’s number throughout their years at Mercer. When your child reaches the cashier, they must enter their student ID into a keypad that resembles an ATM keypad. Through the CEP Program, students receive free breakfast and lunches; however, extra items will be deducted from their cafeteria account. Money can be sent to school with your child at any time. We will deposit the funds as soon as we receive them. Please be sure to put your child’s name on each envelope to assure that it is put into the correct account. Checks can be made out to "Mercer Schools Cafeteria." You may also register for an account on www.schoolcafe.com for credit card transactions.
Please feel free to contact Jane Ferguson to discuss any food allergy issues concerning your child. We look forward to serving the students of Mercer Area School District.
