Mrs. Schmid has been teaching second grade at Mercer Elementary since 2007. Previously she taught preschool for 4 years and was a Title I paraprofessional for 3 years.  Mrs. Schmid received her Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  In 2013 she received a Masters Degree in Special Education from Slippery Rock University.
