Mrs. Joni Kostelnik

Mrs. Kostelnik began her teaching career at Mercer Area School District in the Fall 2003.  During her tenure at Mercer, she has serviced students in the field of special education in grades K-9th.  Mrs. Kostelnik currently teaches students with learning differences in grades K-3rd.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education K-12 and Elementary Education K-6 in December 2002 from Slippery Rock University.  In May 2008, Mrs. Kostelnik earned her Masters degree in Reading, also from Slippery Rock University.  She is also certified to teach English for grades 7th-9th.

Currently, she serves on the Candice Berner Scholarship Committee.

Mrs. Kostelnik resides in Grove City with her husband (Nate), two children (Adelyn and Parker), dog (Ava), and cat (Boots).  She enjoys camping, swimming, reading, and exercising.  Mrs. Kostelnik also co-directs the Joyful Noise program at her church, teaches Children's Church during worship service on various Sundays, and assists with Vacation Bible School each summer.
