Welcome!  I am Mrs. Kristen Cassano, and currently teach sixth grade.  I have been teaching for 13 years, and this is my 10th year at Mercer School District.  I currently teach Reading, Science, Writing, and Language Arts.  I received my undergraduate degree from Westminster College and master's degree from Clarion University.  Prior to teaching sixth grade, I taught fifth grade at Mercer Elementary.  In addition to teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.  I am looking forward to a great year with all of the students!
