Welcome!  I am Mrs. Kristen Cassano and currently teach sixth grade.  I have been teaching for 16 years, with this being my 13th year at Mercer School District.  I currently teach one of the sixth grade ELA and Science blocks here at Mercer.  I am a 2005 graduate of Westminster College and a 2009 graduate from Clarion University with a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction.   In addition to teaching, I enjoy spending time with my two daughters, Annalyse and Amelia, and my husband Chris.  I am looking forward to making this a great year for all the sixth graders!  Happy Learning!
