Academic Hall of Fame
The Academic Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who have brought distinction, honor, and excellence to Mercer High School through their successes and accomplishments achieved after graduation. The former inductees include graduates who have distinguished themselves in careers such as scientists, doctors, educators, congressmen, judges, inventors, business leaders, writers, musicians, military leaders, civic leaders, artists, and actors.
Nominations for the Mercer Area School District Academic Hall of Fame may be made for an eminent alumni who graduated from Mercer High School no less than 10 years of the present graduating year (for example, in 2017, students who graduated in 2007 or prior). All nominations will be submitted to a committee known as the Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame. There is no formal nomination document. Please submit in writing to the Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame Chairman the name, graduation year, and noted accomplishments of the nominee prior to January 1st of each year to be considered for the upcoming year.
