Miss Melanie Zeitler

Ms. Zeitler received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from La Roche University in 2021 and her Master’s degree in School Counseling from Westminster College in 2024. After graduating, she worked as a middle school counselor at a public school in Butler County helping students to with Social Emotional Learning and Career Preparation. She is a member of Pennsylvania School Counselors Association and American School Counselors Association. Ms. Zeitler has a passion for helping students to learn valuable life skills that they can carry with them beyond their time in high school. She is excited to begin her career at Mercer as the 10^th/11^th/12^th Grade School Counselor and is looking forward to helping her students and their families!

Mrs. Courtney Smithco

Mrs. Smithco received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh in 2018 and her Master’s degree in School Counseling from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2020. After graduating, she worked as a long-term school counseling substitute for the Allegheny Intermediate Unit servicing several K-8 schools throughout Allegheny County. Mrs. Smithco has a passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning so that they can be successful both in and out of the classroom. She is excited about beginning her career at Mercer as the 7th/8th/9th Grade School Counselor and looks forward to working with her students and their families!
